Great news ... gimp knee for a few weeks but it should heal OK ... hope they fix that gear box before Portimao.

Margie had the nurses uniform on and was scrubbed up and ready to go if an op was needed!

Please, Magoo.
If anyone is slipping on the nurses uniform to ease his pain it will be me.
I am pleased that apart from being a gimp he will be riding the next round- thank god you sit down to ride a bike.

In a new blog Chris says the ligaments and cartilage are damaged and he's not sure he can ride the next race.

Chris, I wish you a speedy recovery and hope you'll be able to race in Portimao.

I'll tell him you're on standby Marg ... whether or not the knee needs a clean up depends on how much natural healing occurs in the next 10 days ... still not sure if it's going to be right for Portimao

Happy to be on standby- for the greater good of the team, of course.
I 'spose that at least there is enough time between races that he could have a clean up of the knee & be ready for Valencia.
Keep up the recovery plan Chris & crossing fingers that you don't need to go under the knife.
