Chris has just announced that he will forgo racing and testing for the rest of 2010 in an effort to regain full fiitness after re-injuring his right knee in an incident at the recent BRNO round. The full story can be viewed on www.paulbirdmotorsport.com

I think you made a good choice Chris! It must be very hard for a racer to make this decision. Good luck with the surgery and I hope for a speedy recovery! In 2011 you'll be on the new bike kicking ass ;)

Such a disappointing season for you after the debacle that riding for Suzuki became last year.
Thank you for giving it your all & giving us, your fans, someone to cheer on in the races. I will put the rain dancing socks away- hopefully you won't need them next year either.
Look after yourself & try to be a patient patient.
Speedy recovery & look forward to seeing you race at Phillip Island next year.

When the going gets tough ... the tough turn pro ... and Chrisso is one tough bastard. This is shit luck, but his dedication to his fitness will stand him in good stead. Better hone up your backgammon skills mate if surgery is the outcome.
